2+ yrs as metal technician, be able to replace suspension parts learn and do alignments, be able to learn to set up measure and straighten a frame, be able to learn to Jig. Be able to learn to work on Electric vehicles.

Job-Specific Expectations

Must be able to, and always read the Estimates!

Remove only the Body Labor Sheet from job folder and place job folder back in vehicle. Place Frame and Alignment Sheets which have not been turned into estimator into job folder.

Check parts and notify production manager immediately if any are wrong or missing.

Perform repairs to manufacturers' standard.

Deliver parts that need to be painted to the paint department.

Mark all suspension bolts affected by repair with marker paint pen after checking for proper torque.

Torque wheel lug nuts affected by repair.

Use the CCC app to take photos.

Get before and after printouts of frame measurements and wheel alignment and give to estimator.

Get work approved by shop foreman.

Deliver car to paint department.

Inspect paint work before re-assembly of vehicle and notify shop foreman if there are any problems.

Follow safety procedures such as dressing properly, using safety goggles, face and body protection.

Report any injuries immediately.

Keep work area clean and free from clutter by sweeping out work area every night before leaving.

Dispose of all unneeded old parts and keep part racks up to date.
